About Me

My career has taken me from London schools to India and Indonesia, where I most recently served as Head of Performing Arts at a leading International, managing the music and drama department while teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Music. Before that, I held leadership and teaching roles in several outstanding UK secondary schools, working with students aged 11 to 18 and preparing them for public examinations.

Alongside classroom teaching, I have worked as an Edexcel A Level Music Examiner, giving me valuable insight into how students are assessed and what distinguishes the highest-scoring responses. I am also the author of an upcoming IGCSE music book — more details coming soon!

I am an experienced singer, pianist, French horn player, composer, and conductor. I love music and have a passion for passing on my skills to my students. I am open to exploring different genres and styles with my students from Baroque, Classical, Romantic to Pop, Musical Theatre and Rock.

Whether I’m teaching an aspiring pianist, coaching a singer, or helping a Year 11 student prepare for their GCSE Music exam, my lessons are always tailored to the individual. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit their goals and learning style. My aim is to make lessons fun, encouraging and structured, while building the skills and knowledge needed for success.
